Leisure-net has appointed Julie Allen to the new role of Business Development Director to help drive the company’s growth with client-focused solutions and services.
Julie has worked in the health and fitness industry for 17 years, most recently as Customer Engagement Coach at TRP (The Retention People), where she spent seven years. Before that, Julie worked in a variety of customer facing roles in the sector, including teaching Spinning and Zumba, which she continues to do today.
“I’m incredibly passionate about this industry and am excited to be starting the next chapter of my career with Leisure-net. As an exercise instructor and mum of two active children, I both work in and use leisure centres every week, so can empathise with the challenges operators are facing. This new role will allow me to develop long-standing relationships with operators and support them with meaningful research and insight, through new and existing products,” says Julie.
This includes Leisure-net’s new non-user consumer insight service, which gives operators a better understanding of the perceptions and barriers preventing people from using their sports, recreation and leisure facilities.
