We're looking forward to welcoming back a number of 2019 delegates as well as new delegates to 2020. We're returning to the wonderful Eastwood Hall on the 25th and 26th of March, 2020.

active-net gets behind campaign to delete blood cancer

active-net is supporting the work of blood cancer charity, DKMS, by encouraging greater awareness of stem cell donation within the BAME community as part of its diversity, inclusivity and equality theme. Delegates at this year’s event, which takes place on 27-28 March, will be asked to register onto the blood stem cell donor database. Find out more about here.


Row to Raise on the Atlantic

'So, it’s not long to go until the off now!!! I fly out to La Gomera on the 28th November, and the race start date is the 12th December…. although that's subject to change if the wind’s blowing in the wrong direction!'

Thank you so much for all the amazing support from everyone. Lots of people have been asking how they can follow the race. There’ll be updates every 4 hrs on the Yellow Brick Tracker. This won’t be launched until a couple of days before the race start, but you’ll see the link at the top of the home page of the Atlantic Campaigns website: Find out more about here.


After dinner speaker announced for active-net 2019

Kelda Wood to speak at active-net 2019 after solo attempt to row Atlantic

Kelda’s taking on the 3,000 mile challenge with the aim of raising hope in young people facing physical or mental trauma. Each day she’s rowing on the ocean she will dedicate the day to a different young person, sharing their stories and links to relevant charities and organisations. As a result, she is hoping to reach many young people that are currently feeling isolated and alone, and give them hope and inspire them to contact support networks. Read more about Kelda here.

We're excited to announce that former Olympian and Businessman Steve Parry will be delivering this year's evening speech. Drawing on his experiences as an elite athlete, cancer battler and time in business; it is guaranteed to be a talk filled with passion, positivity and a number of valuable lessons that everyone can learn from.
